Can you tell me about the ATVs?
All ATVS come with:
• Two helmets
(it’s illegal to drive without a helmet)
• Full tank of gas
(must be returned full)
• Bottomless miles
(no mileage limits)
• Not marked as rental vehicles: Avoiding issues with law enforcement in Mexico is a priority. That’s why we refrain from conspicuously labelling our ATVs with numbers or attention-grabbing signs like “RENT ME.” Unlike other rental services, we prioritize your safety and won’t make you a target for potential complications.

Why drive an ATV?

- Easy parking: ATVs are considered to be in the same class as motorcycles, you can park your Tulum ATV rental in the same parking spots. So, you can easily park your ATV in the sections that are often way closer to where you want to go.

What are the driving rules on an ATV in Tulum?
You will follow the same driving rules as regular scooters and cars.
Do you need driver’s license for an ATV?
In order to drive an ATV or Scooter here in Mexico, the drivers all need to have a valid driver’s license or permit from the country they are visiting from.

How can I pay for my ATV?
We accept the following:

You are responsible for any transfer fees.
Do I need to leave my passport or a deposit?
You do not need to leave your passport with us to rent. We will ask for a USD 350 deposit which is fully refundable when you return the ATV.
What is the price to rent an ATV?
We have ATVS available as low as 800 MXN A day and as high as 1200 MXN a day depending on number of days rented. Please send us a WhatsApp to receive a FAST quote.
Can we just show up to pick up an ATV without reserving first?
No, please reserve an ATV first. Please do not just show up to the location.
What if my ATV gets stolen?
In the unfortunate event of ATV theft, our GPS system allows us to track it, reducing your risk and saving you from the need to replace your ATV. How reassuring is that?

What are ATV safety basics?
One thing you’re going to need when you are on an ATV is common sense, so try to keep things simple and get to know your ride over time and make your ATV experience a safe one:
- Start simple: You may want to pick a high-performance ride, but too much power can be bad. You don’t want to lose control of your ATV early on.
- Check the manual: The owner’s manual is able to pinpoint what is necessary to operate your vehicle the right way.
- Educate yourself: Before fire up your vehicle, you should invest a few hours on ATV safety training. The ATV Safety Institute is a great place to start. RiderCourse offers thorough ATV training, and some states offer training subsidies, so check with your DMV. If you’ve recently purchased your ATV, training may be free.
- Solid footing: As a new rider, make sure to have a solid footing, you’ll have enough to think about without worrying about what to do with your feet. With Nerf bars and heel guards, you’ll get the stability you need. Nerf bars are like giant foot pegs that allow you to keep your feet planted during your ride. Heel guards keep your feet where you want them, giving you more control while riding your ATV.
- Stay off the street: The ATVs are licensed “off-highway” and are not safe or designed for certain pavements. Also, it may be illegal. Check with the DMV to learn more about restrictions.
